I'm Greg Migliore. This is Autoweek TV for Friday. Big news out of Mercedes today. A new SUV concept is heading to the LA auto show, and it's part of the police highway patrol vehicle of the future design competition. Check this thing out. I wouldn't want to get pulled over by that. Contests aside, this previews the next G-class, which is iconic, but it hasn't been really redesigned in since Jimmy Carter was in the White House. This one is a ways out, but notice the headlights, which are shaped like Gs, and monster wheels. Mercedes says it could run on batteries, a hybrid setup or even hydrogen fuel cells.
