I'm Greg Migliore. This is Autoweek TV for Friday. Big news out of Mercedes today. A new SUV concept is heading to the LA auto show, and it's part of the police highway patrol vehicle of the future design competition. Check this thing out. I wouldn't want to get pulled over by that. Contests aside, this previews the next G-class, which is iconic, but it hasn't been really redesigned in since Jimmy Carter was in the White House. This one is a ways out, but notice the headlights, which are shaped like Gs, and monster wheels. Mercedes says it could run on batteries, a hybrid setup or even hydrogen fuel cells. More on the Mercedes-Benz SUV concept: www.autoweek.com Speaking of contests, here comes the Autoweek Best of the Best. We've narrowed it down to five finalists in the car and truck category. The cars are the Cadillac ATS, Dodge Dart, Porsche 911, Subaru BRZ and Porsche Boxster. The trucks are the Ford Escape, Acura RDX, Mercedes GL-class, Infiniti JX35 and Mazda CX-5.
