2011 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG

2011 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMGThe Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG, featuring a powerful 375 kW (510 hp) AMG 6.3-litre V8 engine, unveils its updated exterior takes on a more attractive appearance thanks to some subtle but effective changes. From the front, the eye is immediately drawn to the new bonnet with power domes, and the darkened bi-xenon headlamps with active light function. The rear, meanwhile, also contributes appropriately to the new look: the performance SUV now features darkened tail lamps incorporating a clear-lens design and LED technology. The subtle changes to the exterior coordinate perfectly with the high-gloss, chromed front and rear underguard, and afford the Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG an even more powerful and distinctive appearance. Powerful and torque-laden AMG 6.3-litre V8 engine Still boasting a power output of 375 kW (510 hp) at 6800/rpm as well as 630 Nm of torque, the Mercedes ML 63 AMG is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds, and achieves a top speed of 250 km/h (electronically limited). At the renowned International Engine of the Year Awards in 2009, the AMG 6.3-litre V8 engine took the top places in both the "Best Performance Engine" and "Above 4 litres" categories. Mercedes Benz 280 SL W113 1970 GalleryMercedes Benz 280S Roadster The Mercedes-Benz SL is a roadster manufactured by Mercedes since 1954. The designation SL derives from the German Sport Leicht, or Sport Light — and was first applied to the 300SL 'Gullwing' named also after its "gullwing" or upward-opening doors. It is also one of the world's safest sport vehicles.[citation needed] The term SL-Class refers to the marketing variations of the vehicle, including the numerous engine configurations spanning five design generations. 1954 to 1962 The 300SL roadster succeeded the Gullwing in 1957. The 4-cylinder 190SL was more widely produced with 25881 units, starting in 1955. Cars of the open SL-Class were available as a coupe with a removable hardtop or as a roadster with convertible soft top or with both tops. Production for the 190SL and 300SL ended in 1963.There is a new Mercedes called the SLS, which revives some of the styling and the gull-wing doors. 1963 to 1971 Next came the SL-Class 230SL, a new design with a 2.3 six cylinder engine, low waistline and big curved greenhouse windows, and a Coupe Roadster whose distinctive roofline earned the nickname "pagoda top." Around 1968 the engine received a displacement increase and the model became known as the 250SL. The last two years of production as the 280SL saw minor changes to switch knobs, and wheel trim rings became full hubcaps.
