The Travego L, 14 m in length and the longest in the range, is an outstanding presence in every respect. So the three test vehicles have true class -- but with different aspects. Clean, powerful drive system in accordance with Euro VI emissions standard What the three test buses have in common is their completely powertrain system, the special feature of the Travego Edition 1 special series. The centre stage is occupied by the new six-cylinder Mercedes-Benz OM 471 series engine which complies with Euro VI emission requirements. It has an output of 350 kW (476 hp), and an impressive torque of 2 300 Nm. The power transmission is done by the equally new, fully au-tomatic Mercedes GO 250-8 PowerShift eight-speed gearbox. The rear axle transmission of the three test vehicles is i=3.909 in each case, which corresponds to a torque of 1 280 rpm at a speed of 100 km/h in top gear. With this all-round transmission the Travego L Edition 1 is ideally suited both for long journeys and for country roads and lanes. Production 1989--2002 ............... The 1989 Mercedes SL base model was the 228 hp (170 kW) 3.0 L inline 6 300SL version in the US. In Europe the base model was the 190 hp (140 kW) 3.0 L inline 6 300SL with 12 valves, and the 228 hp (170 kW) 3.0 L inline 6 with 24 valves is known as the 300SL 24 . But it was the 322 hp (240 kW) 500SL (with a 5.0 L V8 engine) which made the most headlines. The specification was high, with electric windows, mirrors, seats and roof. 1994 saw a huge facelift for the SL, and the 300SL was replaced in Europe by the SL280 and SL320 (with 2.8 L and 3.2 L I6 engines). The SL500 continued with the same powerful engine. A 389 hp (290 kW) 6.0 L V12 SL600 topped the range. Introduced in 1993 as the 600SL, it was re-badged the SL600 in 1994. The SL320 replaced the 300SL in the United States in 1995, but the SL280 was not offered. The 6-cylinder SLs were dropped from the US lineup in 1998, leaving just the V8 and V12. A lovely and powerfull sounding SLS AMG accelerating very nice! A few weeks ago I had way more video's about this same SLS AMG (revving and more accelerating). But unfortunately my pc crashed! Now I finally got some new accelerations recorded of this SLS AMG :) But the second acceleration after the first gear does sounds very werid, does anyone know what it is?
