Unfortunately diesel powered vehicles are frowned upon here in the US But overseas diesel power cars are a hit. And this Mercedes GL350 is one awesome SUV. The 3.0 liter engine puts out 400 lb-ft. of torque and there is a 3rd row in the back. The 3 row luxury SUV segment consists of a couple of giant, expensive, and gas guzzling vehicles like the Cadillac Escalade, Lexus LX 570, and the infiniti QX56. But the 2012 Mercedes GL350 BlueTEC is a bit smaller and less expensive while getting much better fuel economy. The GL350 has a base price of $61570. The engine that powers the 2012 Mercedes GL350 BlueTEC is a very refined and green engine. The 3.0 liter V-6 is turbocharged for extra power. The GL350 makes only 210 horsepower but a whopping 400 lb-ft. of torque which is whats needed to get your moving. The emissions are low thanks to the BlueTEC technology. The transmission is a 7-speed automatic. The 2012 Mercedes-Benz GL350 manages 17 MPG in the city and 21 MPG on the highway which is much better than the competition. And with all the torque available the GL350 is rated to tow up to 7500 lbs. The new s class Mercedes, which is ready for it's makeover, has popped up with an S-Class 4 door Cabriolet, the first of it's kind. It's built off of the Maybach to Pullman platform and it shows. This concept alone is a statement, the new one could change the game.
