1991 Mercedes Benz 560SEL W126 This Benz has a 5.6L SOHC V8 which makes 238 HP & its paired to a 4 Speed auto. My Favorite Mercedes-Benz of all time & the most popular S-Class ever sold. I have rode in so many of these while growing up & they just glide at highway speeds. 560SEL was the most powerful of the W126 S-Class but the engine was detuned for the US Market & was Limited to a 142 MPH max speed. The Euro spec 560SEL had 275 HP and had a 155 MPH max speed which is just unheard of from other mass produced sedans. For those of you wondering, yes we did pick up the broken ceramic plate pieces from the beach and we swam safely at the same location for the next few days without any problems.
