I'm Greg, welcome to Autoweek TV for Thursday. Mercedes has revealed a refreshed 2014 lineup of E-class. It's a good-looking car, though the changes aren't as dramatic as several years ago. It's mainly an evolutionary change, and the headlights and grille get retouched for the Detroit auto show. Let's go over the engine lineup for the US There will be a Bluetec turbodiesel pushing out 190 hp and 369-lb-ft of torque. The E350 gets a 302-hp V6, and the E400 hybrid takes that same V6 and pairs it up with an electric motor. An E550 4Matic tops things off for now, but don't forget about the E63. The track received solid reviews, and the race was actually pretty good too. Everyone seemed to like it—except Sir Jackie Stewart. Actually, his reaction was generally positive, but he argued access to the Circuit of the Americas should be better. He said the roads were too congested for such a large sporting event, and plans on writing race officials. Envisioned as a luxury flagship for 2025, the car is a plug-in hybrid fuel-cell electric vehicle which has a 10 kWh lithium-sulphur battery, a hydrogen fuel tank and four electric motors with a peak output of 313 PS (230 kW / 308 hp). This enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 220 km/h (137 mph). Additionally, the F 125! can travel 50 km (31 miles) on electricity alone, before the fuel-cell activates to extend the range up to 1000 km (621 miles).
