www.mercedes1951.blogspot.com - This stylishly cozy Mercedes Benz 170 S is from 1951 - the year of 'A Streetcar Named Desire' starring James Dean, of ice skate hero Dick Button and the establishing of Japan Air Lines among other (and the music being seriously pre-rock'n'roll). This video shows some more footage from the outside but also its champagne-beige colored plush interior and wood and chrome built dashboard and controls. The car was in Sweden from new in 1951 to 2003, and was then imported into the volcanic island in the Atlantic in 2003. This jewel of a Mercedes is available for sale.
